Did someone say dystopian? Yes please! One of my favorite genres!
Jacob Elordi was wonderful. Flying around in his 1950’s Cessna, this is a typical dystopian movie in that after the flu or whatever it is gets you, it is the human beings that will come after you next. a sometimes combo of Mad Max and the Walking Dead, how does one survive all of that? See the movie in IMAX as we did to find out!

The film tells the story of Hig (Jacob Elordi), a young pilot who, together with a military survivalist, Bangley (Josh Brolin), has carved out an efficient but isolated homestead in a brutal postapocalyptic world. But when Hig receives a mysterious radio transmission, he ventures into the unknown in search of the hope and humanity he still believes exist.
The film as a fair amount of violence because all futuristic post-apocalyptic movies show us the truth about humans, they are bad! Attacking hordes are always to be found, and in this movie, twice. Hence the R rating, so not for younger teens.
I watched the trailer and it looks very good, although I am not much of a sci-fi person. Jacob E looks a little different without his mustache but still handsome.
