You get $300 for being approved, and another $300 for spending over $1000. Silly me forgot I get another $100 back for spending over $1000 on a park ticket. Then, I got 3% back for spending that same money again.
The credit card fee is $150.
The annual pass of $1850, actually cost me $1090. I got back $730, plus $30 for buying a discounted $500 Disney gift card at BJ’s.
Or $1240 if I add in the annual fee. I saved $610, or 33%. I tend to go 4 times a year, so the AP is well worth it for me. Hey, this was my birthday present to myself with my first social security check!
Renewals usually are discounted 15%, and the card pays me back $100 a year for every ticket purchase over $1000. Plus, that 3% again, so my renewal will be discounted, add the credits with the 3% back, and the annual fee is covered yearly.
