Have you heard of diamond art? It’s a paint-by-numbers craft, but, instead of paint, you affix colored “diamonds” to the canvas, creating a sparkly effect. It’s not quite 3-dimensional, though they have 3D kits, but it does add a nice texture to the picture. For the 2026 Calendar, Diamond Art Club has created an adorable collection of 12 images that correspond with each of the months of the year. Yes, a diamond art calendar with a project to complete every month.
What’s in the box?
The box includes the calendar, which is a 12-month wall-hanging calendar. Each month has a diamond art project image and the month calendar, with most of the major holidays noted. The diamonds for each project are in separate plastic sleeves, so you can work with a complete set for each project. There is a tool pouch, too, which includes the diamond-setting wand and a 7-diamond attachment, two pieces of diamond wax (a clear rectangle and a red heart), some small zipper lock bags (for holding the open diamond bags), and a diamond tray (to hold the diamonds while you apply them to the image.
TOP TIP: There are only enough of the small zipper-lock bags for one month’s diamonds. I have a lot of those small zipper-lock bags, so I am able to store all of them separately. If you’re not going to save the diamonds separately, you could collect them in a jar and just keep filling it for a decorative piece or for use in other craft projects.
How to complete Diamond Art Club’s 2026 Calendar images:
Each of the images has a piece of plastic over the working area. That’s because the working area is adhesive. Peel back the area you’re going to work on, but keep the remainder of the puzzle covered, to keep the adhesive sticky and free from stray diamonds. The diamond-setting wand works three ways. The single diamond setter sits on a tube that is full of wax. As you use up the wax in the tip of the wand, you can twist the tip to push up more wax. This is my favorite part of the wand. The other end of the wand is a triple-diamond setter that can be swapped out for the 7-diamond setter. For these two multi-diamond setters, you need the diamond wax (clear rectangle/red heart). If you are skilled enough to use them (I am not that skilled), you stick the wand’s tip into the wax tablet to apply the wax. To apply the diamonds to the image, you match the number on the image to the number on the bag of diamonds. (Each color has a different number.) Place those diamonds in the diamond tray, making sure that the funnel block is in place. Using your preferred diamond tip, attach a diamond (the faceted side should be facing up in the diamond tray), then transfer it to the numbered circle on the image. Keep applying the diamonds, color by color, until you have completed the image.
TOP TIP: I like to apply all of the diamonds of one number before moving on to the next number, but I have only worked on small images. If you’re working on a larger canvas, you might want to apply all of the diamonds in each section before moving on to the next section.
Diamond Art Club diamond art crafts are designed for people who are six or older, but you might want to supervise your littles. The Diamond Art Club 2026 Calendar is a great intro to diamond art crafting, because the images aren’t too big and the numbers are well-spaced. I completed January in a few hours, including a dinner break. I love that the images are thematic to their month. As an October baby, I can’t wait to diamondize the adorable black cat that is October’s image. The Diamond Art Club 2026 Calendar is a great gift for families, too, especially if they all have different birthday months. They also have an advent calendar. Even though advent is nearly over, the Diamond Art Club Advent Calendar is full of Christmas-themed diamond art crafts that could give you a head start on your gifts for Christmas 2026.
TOP TIP: If you read any of my single parent holiday gift guides, you’ll remember I mentioned chunking tasks. Diamond Art Club crafts are made for chunking! You can choose a section or a color at a time, then replace the plastic cover and come back to it later. Buy this for all the single parents on your list!
