Loungefly Winnie the Pooh Mini Backpack Countdown Calendar Review!
It’s advent calendar season again! We do love our countdown calendars and we are starting off strong! Loungefly’s Winnie the Pooh Mini Backpack Countdown Calendar may just be our favorite one of the season. Loungefly creates some of the most popular Disney souvenirs ever! There are Loungefly mini backpacks for almost any character you can think of, including my absolute favorite villain, Chernabog! Disney Bounders use them to complete their outfits and Disney fans have Loungefly collections that rival pin collections. IYKYK They’ve gone a step further now, adding even more functionality, beyond the obvious fact that these are great park bags.
The Loungefly Winnie the Pooh mini backpack countdown calendar matches the level of detail of every Loungefly mini backpack. On the outward-facing back of the bag, the beautiful wintry scene includes the key Winnie the Pooh characters: Winnie, of course; Piglet; Tigger; Eyeore (my favorite Winnie the Pooh character); Kanga and Roo, all against a sky-blue background. There are honey pots; snowballs; Winnie the Pooh and Piglet snowmen; and Winnie’s tree. The character designs are repeated on the lining on a satiny sky-blue background.
There is an interior pocket in the lining and there are two side pockets, as well, each decorated with a hunny pot surrounded by bees and the same lining inside the pockets. There is even a safety feature in that the zipper ends are inside those side pockets, so you can tuck the zipper pulls inside the pocket (either side – there are two zipper pulls so you can close it in either direction), making it difficult for villains to access them.
This Loungefly mini backpack differs from the usual Disney Loungefly mini backpack in that the only exterior pockets are the side pockets. Most, if not all, of the Disney Loungefly mini backpacks have an outward-facing exterior zippered pocket. Instead of that exterior pocket, the Loungefly Winnie the Pooh mini backpack has a countdown calendar! The countdown calendar design starts with Winnie’s tree. In his tree, there is a beehive, out of which flies a single bee on a blue cord. In the space where the pocket would normally be, there are 26 little pockets. Why 26, instead of 25? Because the first pocket is Kanga’s and Roo is in it. Adorable! The little bee can be moved from pocket to pocket to count down. It’s so cute and so perfectly themed!
And the theming doesn’t end there. On the back of the backpack, the side that rests against your back, Christopher Robin stands proudly over a Winnie the Pooh Snowman.
The Loungefly Winnie the Pooh Mini Backpack Countdown Calendar is a wonderful option for any child, adult, or family. It does have a wintry scene with snow, but there’s no Christmas theme, so it really can be used for any countdown, whether it be a holiday, a Disney trip, Disney anything, or just anything, really. If your littles are going to be moving the bee, you might want to break in the pockets by moving the bee through the cycle ahead of time.
