Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat

What a great time chatting with the cast and some crew of the huge hit, Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat on AMC! Above is:

-Writer and Co-Executive Producer, and the real Vampire Queen, Hannah Moscovitch
-Jacob Anderson, Louis de Pointe du Lac
-Sam Reid, Lestat de Lioncourt
-Eric Bogosian, Daniel Molloy (interviewer of vampires!)

What an honor to chat with these folks. As I said above, Hannah is the Queen. Guiding most everything since the beginning in 2022! We learned that season three will focus more on Lestat, after spending two seasons concentrating on Louis.

I loved how Eric shared about how as the interviewer of Louis, he was a moral and logical man. As was the agreement, once turned, everything changed and he had to get used to a world where morals are questionable, if even there.

Our younger vampires were relaxed and talked about how they handle their downtime, how hard they work (something we fans often do not realize, their days can be way over 12 plus hours long), and their playlists! This was appropriate as Lestat was not happy with his portrayal in the fictional book, Interview with the Vampire, so he starts a band and goes on tour! We shall then hear his version of the stories told by Louis interviews.

Getting these photos was huge and made for one of my favorite ComicCon’s ever!
