It’s the last week of Christmas in July! We have celebrated Christmas in July with a series of advent calendar reviews to get the holiday season started. Week 5 (thank you, July!) brings us the Williams Sonoma Peppermint Bark Advent Calendar.
Williams Sonoma has been famous for its peppermint bark since they first developed it back in 1998. A perennial bestseller, the peppermint flavor has been joined by at least a dozen more flavors spanning nearly every season of the year, but none are as beloved as the original peppermint.
The peppermint bark flavor itself has expanded across multiple product lines, as well, from peppermint bark hot chocolate bombs to peppermint bark marshmallows, a peppermint bark spread, and even to peppermint bark-scented toiletries and candles. My personal favorite from Williams Sonoma are the peppermint snaps, which are the hard peppermint candy in flat shapes with a chocolate filling. So good!
The Williams Sonoma Peppermint Bark Advent Calendar is a traditional chocolate advent calendar in form. It’s a flat box that includes the Peppermint Bark Dalmatians (get it? – dogs … bark) with 24 windows, each of which contains a piece of Williams Sonoma’s famous peppermint bark in festive shapes, including Christmas trees; Santas; toy soldiers; and snowmen. Each piece is individually wrapped.

This was not gifted, this was my personal purchase, what could go wrong with an edible advent calendar!
