We are transported to an alternate universe where our four heroes have had their DNA altered during a space flight. This is an Earth seemingly stuck in the 1960’s style wise, but with advanced technology. They have spent the last several years saving the planet and are now up against their biggest foe, the planet eating Galactus. Galactus’s scout is the Silver Surfer, and she sends Earth a foreboding message.
The dynamic between our four heroes works extremely well, and this movie is going to be a big fat hit. Get your tickets now, the Marvel Universe is blowing up, and in a good way! Just keep an eye on Mole Man, is he good, or is he bad? PS, Sarah Niles from Ted Lasso fame is also in this as Lynne Nichols, the Future Foundation’s chief of staff.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal. The action adventure also stars Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne and Sarah Niles. “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is directed by Matt Shakman, produced by Kevin Feige and executive produced by Louis D’Esposito, Grant Curtis and Tim Lewis.

Cool.
I’ve loved the Fantastic Four since I was a kid and this new movie sounds like the reboot fans have been waiting for! The 1960s vibe mixed with modern tech is a cool twist. The last time I was this hyped was when I recreated Marvel levels in Geometry Dash—seeing characters and bosses imagined by players is awesome. If you’re a fan, check out some of the Fantastic Four-inspired levels on Geometry Dash for extra fun.
