European Designer Shopping Discounts!
My name is Mitch, and I am a shopaholic.
The below is a curated list of some of the greatest shopping sites for designer clothes, for men and women, worldwide! Be aware that free delivery offers can change at any time, and we do not know what affect tariffs will have as of yet.
My friend Todd H., in college, introduced me to Giorgio Armani over 40 years ago and there has been no going back. I love them all, Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino, Belstaff, Philipp Plein, the list goes on and on. As an influencer, my introduction to designer shopping from overseas started when Mainline Menswear got in touch and asked for a blog post. Happily, I did this work in exchange for $500 worth of designer clothing. The addiction was in full swing a full years later when I realized I could shop with free shipping and get better prices than what was available in the US!
So here is what I discovered:
Miinto.com – this is a sort of clearinghouse for designer items in Europe, the best fashion boutiques in one place as they say! They work with many stores that are trying to sell past season items. I love past season items and am happy to buy them heavily discounted! My husband introduced me to a very expensive designer, Philip Plein, and I am obsessed. This guy is very expensive, but as a savvy shopper I am able to find some great stuff for up to 85% off! And at Miinto.com, shipping is free if you spend over $150! Of course this is always subject to change, but I have no issue reaching that amount! There are many, many designers, and the clothing and accessories come from all over, they are part of the Miinto data base.
Yoox.com is another great clearinghouse for designer goods. And I am the savvy shopper who watches as the prices change and do my best to catch items when they are at their lowest. I got an $1100 Balmain tank top for $150-15% (coupopn!) and have watched the price clib to well over $400! SO set up some alerts for yourself! The designer list here is extensive with different sales occurring throughout the year, some sales are better than ever.
SSense is a Canadian company that does not offer free shipping but has some good deals. I have gotten some Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen stuff from these folks!
Savait.com has been a good site to shop on.
Farfetch has some good deals oat sale tiem.
House of Fraser is a great British site for sale shopping designer goods. The trick here is that the price is cheaper if you do not ask the system to change you to the American dollar. The exchange rate is better if you shop in British Pounds. And check that for yourself!
Lastly, I also use Shop Simon. Simon is the umbrella for the outlets in the US with the best designers. I have gotten some excellent discounts at sale time, and the selection has become quite extensive. Woodbury Commons is out favorite designer outlet mall, but it is an hour away by car!
NOTES:
I always google for coupons! I have had success with Yoox and Miinto. This is in addition to various sale codes offered on the individual sites.
Shopping for European goods in Europe usually affords you a better price, even with international shipping. What I love the most is that the variety is much greater than what I can find in American stores!
PS Sometimes the shipping is faster from Europe!
