All of Us Strangers On Digital Out Now!
What a lovely film! With everyone’s favorite priest from the British show, Fleabag! What a sweet and touching movie, with a great cast! See this movie!
He is a heck of a lonely guy, and even more so because he is one of two residents in what appears to be a new high rise building in busy London. How convenient that the only other resident is another attractive gay man!
Adam (Andrew Scott) was orphaned as a young boy and that trauma has resurfaced as memories of his childhood collide with his deceased parents who are reappearing to him as an adult. He is both today’s adult and yesterday’s young boy. Adam gets to come out to his parents as an adult with their spirits behaving in the context of the modern day. Great healing occurs and, in the end, this proved to be a serious tearjerker of a movie for me. The movie is based on a book, so these are not spoilers!
From director Andrew Haigh. One night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, Adam (Andrew Scott) has a chance encounter with a mysterious neighbor Harry (Paul Mescal), which punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As a relationship develops between them, Adam is preoccupied with memories of the past and finds himself drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up, and the childhood home where his parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell), appear to be living, just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before.

Cast: Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Jamie Bell, and Claire Foy.
The digital release includes exclusive behind-the-scenes bonus content, with two featurettes:
-Roots of the Story – Uncover how the director blended his own personal story into the making of this moving film. Hear from cast and crew and learn how the filmmakers approached recreating the look and feel of the ’80s, from the sets to the hair and clothing.
-Building Adam’s World – Discover how Adam’s isolated existence was shaped through constructed sets. Visit the locations of exterior shots and learn about the director’s choice to have Adam’s world feel real, and yet not quite real.

really like this movie, Adam’s psychology is portrayed realistically and the way he is influenced by what happened in the past is very logical, as if the screenwriter had experienced it or had researched it a lot. in depth about this issue
