Disney’s Haunted Mansion Arrives on Digital Oct. 4 and on Blu-ray™ Oct. 17!

One of the best rides in the Disney Parks, is now a movie for you to own. After many years of enjoying the ride, there are so many back stories to discover that make the ride more interesting, it was great to see how they play out in a movie. PS Madame Leota is my girl!

It’s a cute movie with a lot of good humor. A lot of laughs along the way as we see how the real Haunted Mansion came to be! Evil lurks within! For those of us who love the ride, the parts of the movie that replicated the ride were wonderful, and the movie came up with some wonderful back stories. Everyone was excellent! LaKeith Stanfield was wonderful, he carried all of the scenes he was in. And I am a huge fan of Tiffany Haddish, especially when she plays characters that are over the top! And again, Madame Leota is my favorite, and played by Jamie Lee, who was fantastic. PS, the costumes for Tiffany and Jamie Lee were wonderfully over the top!

Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, Haunted Mansion tells the story of Gabbie (Rosario Dawson), a single mom, who discovers that the home she and her son share is haunted by irksome ghosts. Hoping to restore domestic tranquility, Gabbie recruits a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid the house of the supernatural squatters. A non-stop blend of action, adventure and comedy featuring an all-star cast that includes LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Dan Levy, Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto, Haunted Mansion was written by Katie Dippold and directed by Justin Simien. The film’s producers are Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, with Nick Reynolds and Tom Peitzman serving as executive producers.
