I loved this movie, I loved this series, I am sad to see it finish! The closure did however work beautifully for this fantastic trilogy of movies.
The Guardians will always, always, always have a special place in my heart since I was fortunate enough to attend the press junket for the very first movie. That entire experience is embedded in my memory. From viewing the movie that no one knew would work as it had come from an obscure comic to interviewing all of the cast. It was fantastic and emblazoned in my memory. See the photos from that junket at the bottom of this post!
And as always, the music is terrific, and particularly outstanding in this last Guardians adventure, James Gunn did not hold back!
As always, our Guardians come to the rescue again:
The galaxy’s favorite band of misfits are back for one final adventure, and it may be their most dangerous yet. James Gunn’s epic conclusion to the Guardians trilogy is “full of heart, humor, and action” (Ross Bonaime, Collider) and “an absolute must-see” (Molly Freeman, Screen Rant). Raising the stakes to new levels, the team must protect one of their own from a mysterious new villain in a thrilling adventure full of the spectacle, humor and heart that fans have come to expect. And of course, an awesome soundtrack! Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 arrives at Digital retailers on July 7 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on August 1. Fans can add the film to their collection and access exclusive bonus content including deleted scenes, a gag reel and audio commentary by James Gunn.
In Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our beloved band of misfits is looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), still reeling from a terrible loss, must rally his team and embark on a dicey, action-packed mission to defend the universe and protect Rocket. Meanwhile, a new, unpredictable force threatens to bring the Guardians down for good. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is written and directed by James Gunn.

Celeb Photos from the first Guardians junket, but first:
Karen Gillan, she is Nebula! I met her at the Thor: Dark World Premiere, she was fresh off of her filming the first Guardians movie, hence the short hair growing in from her shaved head for this Guardians role. I knew her from her time as a Doctor Who companion!
I met all the Guardians of the Galaxy three years ago for the first movie! Chris Pratt is at the top of the pic!
Can you see me with Chris Pratt? He and I are just looking at each other!
There’s Drax the Destroyer! Dave Bautista was such a cool interview! He put our picture on his Facebook page while we were interviewing him!
Zoe Saldana was absolutely fabulous!
Vin Diesel, He is Groot!
Director James Gunn! The real star who brought this great franchise to the screen in the original blockbuster!
