It was great to see the live action Dungeons and Dragons movie after knowing about the wonderful game of the same name!

A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people in this hilarious and action-packed adventure.

Michelle Rodriguez and Chris Pine are great foils for each other, and their chemistry is not something I would have thought would have worked, but in this movie, it worked really well! As a science fiction/supernatural addict, I loved the whole fantasy aspect of the movie. And comedy to match, as in other franchises, I love when proper comedy and jokes are woven into the movie, and in a way that does not affect the seriousness of the story.

Lastly, as someone who knew of the game, but has never engaged with it, this movie worked! No prior knowledge needed to full enjoy this one, and I look forward to the next, with a movie this successful, you know the franchise will grow!

And the best part of the experience is that you can now own the movie to see in the comfort of your own home, or anywhere on your devices!

    I went with hubby to see this in the theaters. It was fantastic. It was admittedly one of the first movies we had seen together in years.
