Shazam! Fury of the Gods!
Mysticism and mythology abound, something I am always interested in watching!
Shazam! Fury of the Gods was last nights preview, and it was terrific. Highly entertaining, I recommend this movie for all families with kids over the age of 10, there is some violence, but it is not amplified, the focus is not on blood and gore like some movies.
Ou six heroes must faceoff with the three daughters of Atlas. Note, one daughter, Anthea, has magical powers that strongly resembles the powers of Dr. Strange! Also, there is room of doors in the lair of our superheroes that reminded me of something out of a Harry Potter movie.
And lastly, this movie contains a cross promotion with a popular candy, and it is brilliant!
Note, even though the spoiler is out there, the last scene has a guest star that blew me away, it was a wonderful surprise. And, there are two Easter Eggs.
New Line Cinema’s “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” continues the story of teenage Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word “SHAZAM!,” is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam! In this movie, Billy Batson and his foster siblings, who all transform into superheroes by saying “Shazam!”, are forced to get back into action and fight the Daughters of Atlas. They must stop them from using a weapon that could destroy the world.
