80 For Brady is Terrific!
I previewed the movie and to be honest, did not have high expectations. Four older ladies who stumble upon a football game as they are supporting the one of them trying to survive cancer. Tom Brady becomes their hero, and they try to go to the Superbowl to see him play, as a last hurrah of their senior citizen life.
I love and adore all our female stars. Lily and Jane have done a spectacular job in Grace and Frankie, I just saw Sally Field in Spoiler Alert, and Rita is an icon!
The movie is terrific. A decent script, the film comes alive due to the terrific portrayals of these women. The laughs started early on and never stopped. Each actress portrayed a different lifestyle of the over 80 crowd (OK, one was 75!), all with different histories, and they all shined in their respective roles. Together and separate, they were absolutely entertaining, and I would see this “feel good” movie again in a minute. I laughed, I got choked up, and was thoroughly entertained for the entirety of the movie, go see this one!

There are cameos galore in this movie, all terrific and in the right places! And I was never a fan of Tom Brady before, for no particular reason, but I am now! He was an inspiration in real life and did a great job of inspiring these women in real life and on film!
