A hard-on-his-luck hound Hank (Michael Cera) finds himself in a town full of cats who need a hero to defend them from a ruthless villain’s (Ricky Gervais) evil plot to wipe their village off the map. With help from a reluctant teacher (Samuel L. Jackson) to train him, our underdog must assume the role of town samurai and team up with the villagers to save the day. Wonderful, and unexpected mix of, cast of characters. It’s amazes me to no end how Samuel L Jackson has this wicked sense of humor–as far as the movies he lends his voice to. This is a very family friendly movie for both dog & cat lovers…actually, any animal kind of lover, because the theme of love, care and discovery is the same no matter the animal. If I don’t win, I’ll surely rent–actually, I’m surprised I haven’t rented it as of the closing of this giveaway. Thanks GayNYCDad, you must be a great dad to yours’n.
