Jurassic World: Dominion In IMAX Theaters TODAY!
Last night I attended a preview of the movie in IMAX and it was spectacular! Seeing a movie in IMAX takes the experience to a whole other level, and I cannot recommend it enough!
In this sixth movie in the franchise, dinosaurs walk among us. This is where the story goes south. Humans would never survive! But it doesn’t matter. The action on the big screen, especially in IMAX, is great entertainment (except for the little ones who will be scared). There is a sense of nostalgia and while I am not a fan of Jeff Goldblum, he did a good job.
Joining the cast was DeWanda Wise as our trusty pilot, and she was one of my favorite characters, saving the day several times with her flying prowess. And Dichen Lachman as the bad guy/lady. I always love seeing her on TV and movies, ever since she first appeared in the tv series, Dollhouse!
I have already seen a few less than complimentary reviews, as a critics job is to be critical, but my date and I both enjoyed the film quite a lot, after all, I go to the movies to be entertained, and I surely was!
This summer, experience the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era as two generations unite for the first time. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are joined by Oscar®-winner Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill in Jurassic World Dominion, a bold, timely and breathtaking new adventure that spans the globe. From Jurassic World architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures. Jurassic World Dominion, from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, propels the more than $5 billion franchise into daring, uncharted territory, featuring never-seen dinosaurs, breakneck action and astonishing new visual effects.
