Set during WWI, The King’s Man tells the exhilarating origin story of Kingsman, the world’s very first independent intelligence agency. As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions across the globe, one man must race against time to stop them.

This is third installment in the Kingsman film series, a prequel to 2014’s Kingsman: The Secret Service and 2017’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle. You do not need to see the others to enjoy this film, and you will probably want to own the entire series after the excitement of seeing this prequel!

The movie imagines what the behind-the-scenes action of World War 1 would be, and the secret forces working behind the scenes on both sides. There is historical accuracy which makes it all the more interesting when you add the secret societies working to one, start the war, and two, fight and end the war. And then there was Rasputin. Not a nice guy. Spoiler alert, there is a fight scene with Rasputin and our heroes: the choreography was fantastic. Russian dancing, ballet, all with swords, daggers, and guns. One of my favorite scenes in the movie!
