Redeeming Love Movies Premieres January 21st!
I saw the movie last night and loved it! The movie is a retelling of Francine Rivers’ bestselling novel, and it is inspiring:
REDEEMING LOVE is a powerful and timeless love story that takes place against the backdrop of the California Gold Rush of 1850. The story centers on Angel (Abigail Cowen), who was sold into prostitution as a child. She has survived through hatred and self-loathing, until she meets Michael Hosea (Tom Lewis) and discovers there is no brokenness that love can’t heal. The story reflects the redemptive power of unconditional and sacrificial love with characters and circumstances relevant to the contemporary world. The two young lovers are the center of this story of love against all odds, as they connect despite their differences. Redeeming Love shows there is no brokenness that love can’t heal. The ensemble cast also includes Famke Janssen, Logan Marshall-Green, Nina Dobrev, Livi Birch, Eric Dane, Brandon Auret, Jamie-Lee O’Donnell, and Josh Taylor.
The cast of this movie is wonderful, Abigail Cowen is gorgeous and portrayed Angel perfectly! Tom Lewis was wonderful as the man who fell in love with her. Also, Nina Dobrev is from my first pandemic binge, Vampire Diaries. And one of our favorite Derry Girl’s is also in this, Jamie-Lee O’Donnell!
The movie depicts the rough lives of the folks who lived out west during the gold rush. As we know from the book, it was especially rough on women. It’s no spoiler that this is about redemption, and the movie illustrates that long road in an inspiring manner. It was a tough, yet beautifully depicted love story that everyone should see! The movie is out this Friday, January 21st!
Nthibah Pictures, Mission Pictures and Pinnacle Peak Pictures announce the release date of the highly anticipated film REDEEMING LOVE, distributed by Universal Pictures in U.S. and Canadian theaters for January 21, 2022.
