My favorite holiday movie is back, and updated:
The Mitchell brothers are back, and this time they will compete to see who can create the best Christmas House!

This movie is special to my family because we are represented in a Hallmark movie, and prominently, for the first time. Remember The Christmas House movie? It was the first Hallmark Channel film to prominently feature a same-sex couple. In the movie, Brandon and Jake’s relationship is fully accepted by their relatives and friends. The fact that they are gay is not discussed in the film, they are just shown as part of the extended family. In one scene, after a private discussion about their efforts to adopt a child, the two men share a romantic kiss.

I’m a sucker for Christmas movies. I’ve been watching them for months now. I must lookout for this as we do have the Hallmark Channel. I’ve not seen the first one so must see that first. Good to hear more are being represented in Christmas movies x
