We love all things Disney in my house, especially Pixar.
Pixar Fest is back with another month-long celebration of all things Pixar! Fans can look forward to a Disney+ virtual film festival, new product launches, and an all-new dance and pose challenge inspired by the animation studios’ beloved characters. Starting this Friday evening (9/3), fans can grab their Pixar gear and tune-in to Disney+ to enjoy their favorite Pixar movie and join the conversation using #PixarFest.
And, Disney has teamed up with Starlight Children’s Foundation to design Pixar-themed Starlight Hospital Wear inspired by iconic Pixar movies: Toy Story, The Incredibles, and Up. Each hospital gown will include an interactive QR code that patients can scan on their phones for special Pixar animated content. For more information on this collaboration visit starlight.org/disney.
Additionally, fans and families are invited to join top content creators like The Williams Family, Phil Wright, Merrick Hanna and McKenzi Brooke in the first-ever Pixar-inspired challenge across TikTok and Instagram Reels recreating favorite character poses themed to Pixar’s iconic films. Actor, Dancer, Avid Pixar Fan Harry Shum Jr. (Crazy Rich Asians) is joining the celebration saying:
“I’m jazzed (dad joke) to help launch the second annual Pixar Fest and unveil an all-new dance and pose challenge as part of this year’s celebration,” said Harry Shum Jr. (All My Life). “As someone who started their career as a dancer, my wife, Shelby, and I are stoked to help fans show their love of these iconic films through this fun challenge that pretty much anyone can do. I credit my lanky dancing to Woody from my favorite Pixar film, Toy Story, so I’ll be channeling him to hopefully bring some joy to families.”
Thanks Harry, loved you in Shadowhunters from Disney’s Freeform Channel!
