Did you know there are coupons for drugs, both over the counter and prescription? I was pleasantly surprised to find that with constantly increasing co-pays, these coupons will even reduce your portion of your prescription drug refill!
If you buy any drugs, whether it be a prescription, or over the counter, look for a coupon before you shop! My main source for drug coupons of all kinds used to be internetdrugcoupons.com. Since then there are many other discount prescription plans that have popped up, and my local CVS will actually check several sites for me! There are a myriad of RX savings cards from various companies out there, and some of them work really well at helping you to lower your drug costs: some of my prescriptions are not covered by my latest insurance, my pharmacist has been able to lower my cost 100% of the time, with either a coupon or an RX savings card that he found on-line while I waited at the store! (Note, some uncovered drugs are still expensive, but at least there are options.)
What search engine do you use? Google? Bing? Did you ever google the drug you use and add “coupon” after the name? Try it and see if that works to bring you to a coupon. And if you are desperate, then reach out to the drug manufacturer themselves! Many companies have programs that will work with you to make your drug needs affordable, you just have to ask. What’s the worst answer they can give you? No. And that doesn’t cost anything, but at least you tried!
Now go save money! Never be afraid to ask for discounts and savings clubs!
Nice! I’ll keep this in mind when my husband is out of the military. Right now we get everything on base. But when he gets out in a few years, it’ll be different!
It would be so great to save on otc meds because they are so expensive. I have insurance to cover the prescription drugs so this could really help.
This is great! I use that same inhaler and they are crazy high. Can’t wait to see what else they have.

I had no idea you could get coupons for prescriptions! I don’t use prescriptions but my mother does so I will tell her about this.
We had pretty great insurance for a long time, but now we have one that doesn’t cover much of our prescriptions. I’ll have to start looking for coupons. Thanks for the suggestion!
I will for sure keep this in mind for the next time I need to purchase medications. Thank you for sharing.

I had no idea there were coupons for prescriptions. When I shop online I always search for coupon codes, but it never would have occurred to me to check for medication coupons.
