National Puzzle Day – January 29th
Ravensburger, based in Germany, has been making high-quality puzzles since 1964 and has been a world leader in puzzles for over 55 years. According to a recent study, nearly half (48 percent) of all Americans enjoy piecing together a jigsaw puzzle at least once a year, with relaxation, stress relief and just plain fun cited as the top reasons for puzzling. Of that 48 percent, 7 in 10 consider puzzling to be a family tradition.
This year alone, Ravensburger will release 130 new puzzles in North American (more than 300 worldwide) that range from iconic scenes suitable for framing to charming 3D puzzles that double as a toy or centerpiece. For those up for a challenge – Ravensburger also makes some of the world’s biggest puzzles – clocking in at 40,320 pieces and estimated to take an entire year to complete (puzzling 11 hours each week).
