We loved The Grinch! This remake of the original cartoon movie is terrific!

Firstly, we are huge fans of all movies coming out of Illumination Studios! They do great work, and it is not just Minions movies anymore!

I loved the bright colors in this movie! I also thought that the relationship between the Grinch and his dog Max foreshadowed the melting/growing of his heart (no spoiler, we all know how this ends!). Kenan Thompson has such a distinctive voice, he was fantastic as Bricklebaum, and modernizing the movie by including so many updated songs was a brilliant idea, especially with Tyler, The Creator! The perfect way to bring this film into 2018/2019.

Also, Pharrell Williams was the perfect narrator. His hugely successful song, Happy, is synonymous with Illumination Minions movie, what a perfect pairing! And do not forget to watch the extras, and the three additional mini movies, the entertainment never stops!
