Family movie parties are a favorite family activity; I find that movies with animals are always the best so Ploey would be perfect! We also like going to the theater for matinees when something special comes along. My youngest turns 5 this spring and instead of a party we are doing something special (his choice), he has already declared it is go to the movies.
