PBS Distribution announced it has released six good old-fashioned Bear Country living stories on the upcoming DVD, “THE BERENSTAIN BEARS: ADVENTURES IN BEAR COUNTRY.” Based on the bestselling book series, The Berenstain Bears is a charming, animated comedy celebrating furry family values that children are sure to enjoy. In the episode Car Trip, the cubs are excited about going on a Bear family trip – until they find out the destination isn’t Grizzlyland, but rather a tour of Bear Country’s National Parks! Mama reassures and reminds the cubs that if they keep an open mind about new experiences, it could lead to a world of adventure. In the episode The Big Red Kite, Papa, Brother, and Sister work together to build their own red kite instead of buying one.
“ADVENTURES IN BEAR COUNTRY” ($6.99 SRP) is currently available. The DVD has a running time of 74 minutes.
The other adventurous, fun family stories featured on the DVD include: Too Much TV, The Perfect Fishing Spot, White Water Adventure, and Go Up And Down.
