Cartoon Network announced at San Diego Comic-Con that the Adventure Time series finale will air on Monday, September 3 and the Adventure Time: The Final Seasons DVD (Seasons 8, 9, 10) will hit shelves the following day on Tuesday, September 4. It is a sad time for all of us fans, and thankfully Adventure Time had a long and awesome 11 year run.
My son introduced us to this show, and we quickly fell in love with the story lines and the characters! It turned out to be a great program for our family to bond over, we would discuss plot points and we would have our son feel good about explaining to his dads the parts of the show that confused us (and there were many!). I am grateful for all of this! And now we have the DVD to spend hours more enjoying the show as a family, and you can enjoy this collection as well when it is released next week:

I just recently saw this show with my granddaughter and enjoyed it. We will have to catch up with all of the past seasons.
