I previewed the movie a few weeks ago and enjoyed it from start to finish. Dracula’s daughter senses that her dad feels sad and lonely so she decides to plan a family vacation. Of course their extended family are all the “monsters” who regularly visit at the hotel! So everyone gets on that rickety old airline, Gremlin Air, and prepare to head to, where else, the Bermuda Triangle!
Once there they board a cruise ship and proceed to enjoy an ocean cruise just like you and I! The kids go to the kids club (hilarious scene), everyone looks sexy in a bathing suit, and is had by all! Except that the ancient van Helsing family is on the ship and still out to destroy all of monsterkind. Will they be successful? And what is hiding in the lost city of Atlantis?
In Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, join our favorite monster family as they embark on a vacation on a luxury monster cruise ship so Drac can take a summer vacation from providing everyone else’s vacation at the hotel. It’s smooth sailing for Drac’s Pack as the monsters indulge in all of the shipboard fun the cruise has to offer, from monster volleyball to exotic excursions, and catching up on their moon tans. But the dream vacation turns into a nightmare when Mavis realizes Drac has fallen for the mysterious captain of the ship, Ericka, who hides a dangerous secret that could destroy all of monsterkind.
We have been on a cruise twice, and also used to visit the Atlantis hotel complex on Paradise Island. All of those memories came back to me, especially the memories of the Atlantis. the lost island of Atlantis in this movie also has a restaurant with a beautiful aquarium surrounding the dining area! And the casinos!
