I love pictures of my son, Paul, and my dad, Paul. Here you see them delivering food from the third floor in my brother’s house, to the main floor dining room. Yes, my folks live with my brother, and my mom gave up being in charge of the Passover seders, but still makes massive amounts of latkes (potato pancakes) and is in charge of the chicken soup.
My sister-in-law loves entertaining, she had a dining room table specially built so she could host large groups. There is no better hostess!
Two seders a year times 59 years on this Earth is a lot of seders to attend! This year was extra special because we had 12 Israeli’s in attendance and they added a different dimension to the festivities. They brought traditions from the Holy Land, and we also had more Hebrew included in our readings. My sister and I agreed that it made the first seder this year extra, extra special.
Happy Passover!
Happy Passover to you and your family.
Happy Passover Mitch – what a lovely celebration you and your family shared! 🙂
You look so much like your dad! Happy Passover.
Your sister is an awesome hostess! That table looked like something out of a magazine! I hope you had a very Happy Passover.
Mitch, thanks so much for sharing these photos of your family dinner for Passover. That is a lot of folks in one space, but how much fun to share a special holiday with so many loved ones! And potato latkes are one of my favorite foods ever….while I am not Jewish, I was recently told by a very close Jewish friend that my latkes are “better than his grandmother’s”….then his mother (grandmother’s daughter) confirmed his statement! Um….that might be the highest compliment ever! But I wonder if grandmother was still alive if he would say the same thing! Ha.
