The biggest Marvel movie of all time. Everyone is in this.
I have been waiting breathlessly for this movie since I attended the D23 Convention in California this past Summer. Almost the entire cast had flown in from the set in Atlanta, and they appeared on stage, one at a time. The crowd and I were going crazy. And this was after we saw a trailer that was not to be seen by the general public for months. It was amazing, and a prelude of what was to come, this movie is everything you think it will be, it is huge!
And all Marvel worlds collide! It’s not just the Avengers! Those amazing folks from Black Panther are here! My Guardians of the Galaxy are here. Everyone is here, it is fantastic!
“Avengers: Infinity War” picks up as the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, but a dangerous menace has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, Thanos will stop at nothing to collect all six Infinity Stones in his quest to wield unimaginable power and his twisted will on all of humanity.
Assembling a team that includes members from every Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise, the Avengers and their Super Hero allies must sacrifice like never before in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe. An unprecedented cinematic journey 10 years in the making with the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe in play, “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time.
This is the Marvel movie to end all Marvel movies, it is epic, it is huge, it will beat every other movie at the Box Office. And it deserves all the hype it is getting. This movie was one of the most riveting movies I have ever seen. I had goose bumps for the first 30 minutes of the movie.
And it is very funny. The humor is perfectly timed, and not over the top for a cast that is facing possible death on a personal level, and on a universe wide level. Listening to teenage Groot’s shipmates scold him for the amount of time he is spending on his portable video game is something that will make every parent laugh, it was as if I was listening to myself scold my 14 year old! The one-liners, the snide remarks, and the adorable Spider-Man were hilarious. At points I was laughing so much I missed dialogue, so now I have to go back!
The effects are epic. The writing is genius. The battles are monumental. And seeing Wakanda so soon after the Black Panther release, filled me with tears of happiness. And his cameo is early on: Stan Lee gets well deserved cheers every time he appears on screen.
I was overwhelmed and cannot recommend this film enough. This is the quintessential blockbuster, and for good reason, this movie is huge, almost every Marvel character is in it, and their interactions are wonderful! After all, no one knew who the Guardians of the Galaxy where, but now some of them do, and those introductions are great fun! Lastly, where else can you see a dwarf who is also a giant?
This is a must see movie for everyone.

I watched it last night (4/26) and I too had goosebumps the first 30-45 minutes! I loved it, I kind of feel left alone now-everything for this phase has ended. Thankfully, there are more Marvel movies on tap in the months ahead!
