I love all things Marvel, and I especially love all things Marvel on Netflix, and my number one is Jessica Jones! I have been waiting for her newest season to premiere since I last saw her as part of the Defenders!
New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.
I am hungry for anything related to Jessica’s back story! I hope we get all the info this season!
Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) is joined by an incredible returning cast that includes Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse) and new cast members Janet McTeer and J.R. Ramirez, among others.
I have been a fan of Krysten Ritter for years, I was so happy to get to meet her a few years back:
Marvel’s Jessica Jones on Netflix is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg (“Twilight”, “Dexter”), Raelle Tucker (“True Blood”), Jim Chory (“Marvel’s Daredevil”, “Marvel’s Luke Cage”, “Marvel’s Iron Fist”) and Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Daredevil”, “Marvel’s Luke Cage”, “Marvel’s Iron Fist”) who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television.
I was thrilled to meet Execcutive Producer Melissa Rosenberg before the start of Season One a few years back! Her name may not be familiar, but she wrote the screenplays for the six Twilight movies, she produced “Dexter, ” and has many other credits. It was an honor to meet such a talented lady!
Who’s binging with me Thursday!
Cool that you got to meet up with Ms. Ritter. I’ve enjoyed her work on Breaking Bad, Apt. 23, and, of course, Jessica Jones/The Defenders. In fact, I just started watching the 2nd season of Jessica Jones this morning. Only one episode in and I’m already hooked again.
OTOH, not at all familiar with Ms. Rosenberg, but I was a huge fan of Dexter.
D’oh! I hope that Trailer #2 thumbnail isn’t a spoiler.
i’m missing so much on netflix these days, its almost imposible to keep up
