Disney Cruise Line
We just returned from our second Disney Cruise. It was fantastic. Our first cruise was with my extended family 12 years ago when or son was a toddler and it was exquisite as we watched the Captain perform a second marriage ceremony to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. This trip our son was 14 1/2, and it was the first time we ever went to sleep before he was home. We knew he was safe all over the ship, and was loving the freedom of the teen club, Vibe. There will be more about our personal experience onboard ship coming soon!
Disney cruises around the world with destinations like the Caribbean, Alaska, and Europe. There are special themed days on certain ships for either Star Wars or Marvel, you can read more in my Disney Cruise Line article from late last year! The Disney Cruise line has been so successful that they are getting ready to add three more ships in the next few years to increase the size of the fleet! I had the honor of attending the christening of the Disney Fantasy in New York City in 2012 and I can share from direct experience these are magical ships!

DVC – Disney Vacation Club
Breaking news, there is a new DVC property being built in the EPCOT vicinity! The new Disney Riviera Resort is slated to open in the Fall of 2019, and will connect to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT via the new skyway transportation system. There will also be a rooftop restaurant with gorgeous views of the evening activities lighting up the sky at Hollywood Studios and EPCOT!
We are not DVC members, but know several who rave about all the amenities that go along with their membership. We have booked through another source and stayed in DVC rooms in Saratoga Springs and Old Key West, and been thrilled with all that these properties have to offer!
Want to know more? Ask for a DVC DVD to be sent to you. Or stop by one of the many DVC desks all over Disney during your net trip. They have been known to offer enticements to get you to take a tour, maybe you can get a Disney gift card for spending an hour of your time, or maybe even some automatic fast passes!
It is possible to enjoy vacations of many types without ever venturing to another brand. I am familiar with pixie dust and Disney magic. I know how hard Disney staff work to make their guests feel welcome and at home. We have had the adventures of a lifetime with friends and family thanks to Disney. When I go on vacation I want to trust that I am going to receive the greatest experience possible, and I know that with Disney that can happen 100% of the time.
Disclosure: I recently attended the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration where I received a discounted package for my land and sea vacation. All opinions are always 100% honest and our own.
I have heard and read so many positive reviews about Disney themed cruising. It sounds like it is fun with both younger kids and teenagers.
