What can you do with both Alexa in the house, and Amazon Fire TV? Now, with that connectivity, you can play a slideshow of your photo albums on your TV! Every time you have relatives over, all you have to do is use the Alexa Voice Remote feature to ask to show an album, and voila, your TV becomes your new photo album! This is incredible, what a great way to show everyone your last vacation pictures! What a great way to show the grandparents the latest pictures of your kids! What a terrific way to reminisce without getting off the couch!
Your Amazon Prime membership has the photo benefit of unlimited photo storage with Prime Photos and 5 GB digital storage for videos and files. And all US Amazon customers receive 5 GB free digital storage for photos, videos, and files. We visit the our local Zoo regularly and could say, “play a slideshow of our Bronx Zoo photo album.” We could then watch the animal pictures we took!
We are so excited! What parent wouldn’t be tempted to take a break and spend some time in front of the TV watching pictures of their kid, their vacations, and other fun photos? Now Amazon.com customers can view and search for their photos and photo albums with the Alexa Voice Remote and the Prime Photos app on their Amazon Fire TV. Prime members can also search for people, places, and things, with phrases like, “show photos of Sasha” (our Aunt Jenn’s dog), “show photos of Florida,” or “show photos of Paul (our son).” This is so much more convenient than scrolling through my computer, or phone, for picture albums!
This is a great addition to what you can already do with Prime Photos on your Amazon Fire TV. Check out more ways to use the Prime Photos Fire TV app and you can even change your screensaver! Prime Photos helps keep your photos right at your fingertips, wherever you are. Keep your photos safe while you free up space on your devices when you store your photos online with the Prime Photos app.
Please note: like Amazon Fire TV with Alexa Voice Remote, the Echo Show can showcase all the photos in your Prime Photos account, with voice commands like, “Alexa, show my photos.” In fact, all the same commands work with Echo Show – just add “Alexa” to the beginning of each one.
This video is the perfect illustration of how fun this can be, in addition to the happy times viewing your photos on your TV’s!
For more information please visit the Prime Photos Voice webpage NOW! You are going to love these new capabilities!
But Wait! I am also hosting a giveaway! Enter for a chance to win a $500 Amazon.com Gift Card, or one of five $100 Amazon.com Gift Cards. See terms and conditions here.

I love that I can pull up pictures just by using voice commands without having to dig through tons of folders. That makes things much easier for us because we have a metric ton of photos.
