I absolutely love this show and cannot wait for season four to arrive on my TV! In the meantime, you can see season three for the first time, or again, with this new DVD coming out on Tuesday!
Rose McIver is Olivia Moore, zombie extraordinaire. Because Olivia takes on the personality of the brains that she eats, Rose gets to show us what a fantastic actress she is, every single week. Every single week she portrays a different character that she must mix in with her Olivia personality, and she does a fantastic job of it! She is a wonderful actress and it is with great hilarity that we are greeted week after week with a different Liv, my favorite being the dominatrix!
And then there are the brains! I have stated many times, there should be a cook book that goes along with each season of this show! We learned a long time ago that zombies require a lot of spice since there taste buds are basically dead. No surprise there. And each week we get to see how Liv serves up her meal of brains, will it be in a burrito, a soup, or even an omelet. I love the creativity written into this aspect of the show!

Will Seattle become the capital of a zombie homeland? In season three, Liv has discovered there are more zombies living in Seattle than she previously believed, including a private military contractor employing a zombie army that is preparing for the day humans learn of their existence. Major finds acceptance in this army, and Liv and Clive investigate the murder of a zombie family that may set off an all-out zombie-human war. Ravi’s former boss at the Center for Disease Control shows up in Seattle to investigate the Max Rager massacre. Blaine finds living as a human with no memory of his evil past is more blessing than curse. Peyton pulls at a thread in one of her cases that may lead to the villain that’s pulling all the strings. This action-packed season will follow Liv, as she takes on the traits of a dominatrix, a JACKASS-style stunt man, an office gossip, a pre-school teacher, a conspiracy theorist, a dungeon master, and more.

After decades of watching zombie movies, I love the refreshing idea this show has taken with their zombies! Living among us, and not running around trying to eat us all day long!
