I was invited to an exclusive luncheon to celebrate the release of two books:

Exclusive for many reasons. First, regular people cannot book a table at Rao’s NY. It is booked years in advance by people in the now who can get a table. Second, this was the first time in 123 years that they opened for lunch. And third, the southern Italian food was absolutely melt in your mouth delicious, hence the lack of food on some of the plates above! Not to mention the crowd, major NY TV journalists that I have been following for years!

And the authors were the stars of the day, Linda Stasi and Nelson DeMille:
It’s hard to know which camera is snapping that picture when there are so many paparazzi around!
Again, I am filled with gratitude at having been invited to this incredible experience.
You are so lucky to have food out there!!
Looks like you all had a great meal and good time!!
Thanks for the Linkup!
Have a great week!
I have heard of Rao’s and always buy the jarred pasta sauces and have always wanted to eat there!
This looks delish! I’ve never been there. Nebraska doesn’t have one.
Lucky you! It looks like a great place to eat.
It is delicious, I ate there before but was in the 90’s when I was working and came up to our home office. This event looks like so much fun. What a great pair of authors to meet. Thanks for sharing.
