Giveaway - @Disneynature's Born In China! The Animal Shots Are Incredible!This is a beautiful movie showcasing some hard to find animals in China. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the beautiful snow leopard scenes, the monkey scenes, and expecially the giant panda scenes! But I had no appreciation for the work that went into this production until I saw the extra features that you get along with this Blu-ray.

I learned that the photographers didn’t just run into the snow leopoards, they waited almost 90 days and luckily just found them before their Visa expired. They had to reapply and return! And Pandas are solitary creatures, so the staff wore panda costumes so mama would not be scared and let them get some close shots, the baby panda rolling down the hill was absolutely lovely!

And again,  you cannot appreciate the painstakingly levels of patience these folks had to call upon, as well as the intense cold, to get these shots. I appreciated the Movie so much more! Watch the extra features!

The film is directed by accomplished Chinese filmmaker Lu Chuan and produced by Disney’s Roy Conli and renowned nature filmmakers Brian Leith and Phil Chapman. The film features an orchestral score composed by Emmy®-winner Barnaby Taylor that incorporates authentic Chinese flavors.

Narrated by John Krasinski (“13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi,” NBC’s “The Office,” “Amazon’s “Jack Ryan”), Disneynature’s newest true-life adventure film “Born in China,” journeys into homes on Digital, Blu-ray™ Combo Pack (Blu-ray+DVD+Digital) and On-Demand on August 29.
