You may have seen some of my recent FB posts, Tweets, and Instagrams showcasing all the fun activites that accompany an event like the D23 Expo. The Expo floor is filled with experiences, fun photo opps, and to celebrate the return of the new DuckTales series on Disney XD, and opportunity to be filmed jumping into Scrooge McDuck’s Money Pit! First, I had to have my height checked:
It was close, but they said I would be able to participate! While we were there we started talking about the old DuckTales series and everyone starting singing the theme song (Woohoo)! The excitement was building as we were also going to preview the new DuckTales Premiere episode!
The new series premieres on August 12. The excitement over the return of this series was palpable all over this exhibit! DuckTales has been missed! After we previewed the first episode we had a Q&A with Executive Producer Matt Youngberg and Co-Producer / Story Editor Francisco Angones! That interview will be posted just before the August Premiere!
Here I am with Francisco and Matt, I explained to them no post is complete without my trademark celebrity photos (I have another special one saved for the next article!).
Why were Scrooge McDuck and his nephew Donald Duck not speaking for the past decade? What mischief would Huey, Dewey, and Louie get up to when they were sent to Uncle Scrooge McDuck, because Donald was unprepared for his job interview? We were also introduced to a new character who pushed the boys to get into even more trouble, but more about Webby in the next post! The only hint I will give you about the granddaughter of Scrooge’s housekeeper is that she is one tough duck who showed our young ducks around their Great Uncle’s mansion, even after they had been forbidden from exploring. Of course forbidding these charatcers never works!
But back to Uncle Scrooge McDuck’s Money Pit. My, my dream home!

I was quite at home just bathing in the money pit! Eventually Scrooge McDuck’s assistants dragged me out. And then checked my pockets!
