David Tennant was the best Doctor Who of all time. And he left the show because he did not want to be type cast. Turns out Mr. Tenant is a brilliant actor. Have you seen him on Jessica Jones, Season One?
I caught up on Seasons One and Two of Broadchurch on Netflix. David is brilliant, as is his co-star Olivia Colman. The show is extremely well written and riveting, the acting is fantastic, and I am thrilled that Season Three has returned to TV on BBCAmerica!

I haven’t seen any of Broadchurch or Jennifer Jones, but I know how brilliant an actor David Tennant is. I had the great fortune of seeing him perform Hamlet at the RSC in 2008 (and also Berowne in Love’s Labour’s Lost on the same trip). If you have a chance to watch the DVD of Hamlet, it’s slightly different because of staging versus shooting for video, but the heart of the performance is the same. Well worth your time!
