Stitchers is one of my favorite showers:
Freeform’s first procedural drama, “Stitchers,” follows Kirsten, a young woman recruited into a covert government agency to be ‘stitched’ into the minds of the recently deceased, using their memories to investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave. Working alongside Kirsten is Cameron, a brilliant neuroscientist whose passion for the program is evident in his work. The secret program is headed by Maggie, a skilled veteran of covert operations, and includes Linus, a socially immature bioelectrical engineer and communications technician. Kirsten’s roommate, Camille, a gifted computer science grad student, is also recruited to use her skills to assist Kirsten in her new role as a ‘stitcher.’
And not just because I have met the cast numerous times, most recently at a NYC party:
Stitchers is that wonderful mix of science fiction and police drama. I am a huge fan of both genres. What makes this show different is that the version of science fiction within is not only within the realm of possibility, it has been called science fiction that is, as Producer Jeffrey Alan Schecter says, “10 Minutes Ahead.” That makes this show all the more intriguing to me, it could be technology that “they” are really working on right now in one form or another!
And I absolutely love this ensemble cast:
Emma Ishta as Kirsten Clark – Our main character has slowly started to show emotion. I love the journey of her character, and Emma’s ability to have started the series acting with a complete lack of emotion!
Kyle Harris as Cameron Goodkin – Did a stint in the Carrie Diaries
Ritesh Rajan as Linus Ahluwalia – Did you hear Ritesh as the voice of Mowgli’s dad in the Jungle Book? Did you see him in that recent episode of one of my other favorite shows, Young & Hungry!
Salli Richardson-Whitfield as Maggie Baptiste – I have been following Miss Richardson’s career since “I Am Legend” and the science fiction show, Eureka!
Allison Scagliotti as Camille Engelson – I love Allison in Warehouse 13! And some Drake & Josh!
Damon Dayoub as Detective Quincy Fisher – I am a big fan of this handsome man!
And once again, my pictures with the cast at ComicCon!
And now I get to showcase the guys!
