It’s funny, and it’s not funny when your teenager tries to pull it off! Like when he hands in a piece of homework with only the answers written there. Where is the process documented? I did it in my head. No!
This cute little book is perfect for the bedside table, or even ion your “reading” room (bathroom). Sometimes you just need to chill out and have a chuckle to unwind. I know I do. The tensions from your exhausting day can slip away when you relax and read things like:
“I want to be a teacher but my first name isn’t Mrs.!”
“People hold hands so their rings don’t fall off.”
And one of my favorites, “How does the tooth fairy get in if the window is closed!” We forget how smart and observant kids can be!
Kids really do say the dandiest things, mostly when we parents are not around. Especially when they are with their peers, and especially when encouraged by smart teachers: “What will you take home from the math lesson today? (innocent answer from one student:) My butt has a line of symmetry!”
