I recently shared with you how the Raid® Bed Bug Detector & Trap helps my family in my apartment all year long. This product is also perfect for those of us who travel. We have all read the alarming numbers of hotel visitors who have had bed bug complaints, and while I do not want to be one of them, I do want to be informed as to whether or not they are in a room I am staying in, so that I can immediately change rooms! With the increased amount of traveling, with the addition of people renting other folks apartments while traveling, and with our shrinking world, we need to check our rented rooms before we unpack:
Frequent travel increases the risk of catching bed bugs – Raid® Bed Bug Detector & Trap can be used while travelling.
a. While 46 percent of Millennials can correctly identify a bed bug, they are least informed about the conditions in which a bed bug can survive.
b. Three out of four Millennials check the bed or mattress for bed bugs while traveling, but only 37 percent check the headboard.
c. Since, bed bugs retreat to the headboards in hotels, travelers should: i. Check the headboard and examine with a bright light. ii. Check for bed bugs by looking for their exoskeletons, since you may not be able to see the actual bugs.
I stayed in five different hotels this Summer from San Diego, to Los Angeles, to Rhode Island. Each time I took my Raid® Bed Bug Detector & Trap with me.
I would no longer consider traveling without this new tool to protect myself and my family. Thankfully, I had peace of mind during my overnight stays stretching from one night to five, depending on my city!
Early detection on the road is important so you can change your room before any unwanted guests return home with you and infect your household!

Had never considered bringing these to hotels with me but will in the future. I don’t ever want to bring any home with us again. Once was enough. So hard to get rid of once they enter the home.

I can definitely see where this would come in handy for traveling. Some hotels can be kindof sketchy when it comes to house cleaning!

Well I hope I don’t ever stay in a hotel that has bugs! Yikes. I think I’d have to complain!! However, I might need that in my husband’s side of the garage!!!
