Mystic Aquarium hosted Peter and I for a visit this past weekend. I have been wanting to go for decades, then thought perhaps we can take Paul on the way to sleep-away camp. Well, I could not wait any longer, Peter and I went up North a day early, just so we cold visit this wonderful aquarium in northern Connecticut!
From beluga whales, to penguins, to aquatic rehab facilities, this place is well worth a visit! From ray petting pools, to shark petting pools, the kids will love the hands on experiences! And then there are shows! We took in the 4D Angry Birds show (it’s just like the movie I reviewed on the blog!), and the California Sea Lions show! Mystic Aquarium is well worth a visit for you and the family!
Did I mention I also fed some birds?
Wow I have not had the opportunity to visit a zoo for a long time, so many great animals.
Hope you have a great day!
Awww cute creatures!

What a fun place to visit! I think I’d like to see the jelly fish the most.
Wow, you were closer to our neck of the woods. We’ve been to Mysic Aquarium like 3 times now. We love it. Glad you guys enjoyed it.
Looks like a fun day out!

Visit Keith’s Ramblings
What an amazing opportunity to see the Aquarium and animals.
We LOVE Mystic Aquarium! It’s such a fun place and they keep things new and changing too. On one trip we discovered that if you hold up your cell phone to the Beluga whale page playing some music the whales will come right to the window to investigate. It’s so neat!
Those are all awesome shots! What a cool place to visit! 🙂
WW: Technological Anomaly in the Wild
We all love aquariums! Can’t get enough of it :)..
What a fun place to go with the kids and yet it teaches them about marine life too. My kids always loved to go where the fish splashes them. bwahahahahaha
It was absolutely delish!! Thanks for a great idea that I’ll definitely use again – hopefully next time with the actual kale and bacon. 🙂 One question – is the nutrition info at the end meant for one serving or all four? The carb count seems high for a single serving, given that a whole large sweet potato has around 40 carbs. But if I’ve miscounted somewhere, please let me know. Thanks again!
