Gotham is one of my favorite shows. After all, I am a 57 year old man who grew up watching Batman & Robin in the 60’s! I have been a fan of the genre ever since, and one of my favorite things is history. Gotham offers me a history of the entire Batman story.
The old series started with the murder of Bruce Wayne’s parents, and then would move quickly to the present day when Bruce Wayne was an adult and fighting crime as Batman. What I am loving about watching the Gotham series is the development of these characters from their creation. Bruce Wayne’s parents were just killed and we get to see how he is now headed on the path that will one day that will lead him to become Batman.
And Jim Gordon! Mr. Do Gooder! I enjoy watching the seriousness with which he takes his police career when no one else in Gotham seems to give more than a cursory care to the crime scene. And I also enjoy the fact that Barbara Gordon, who we all know will one day be Jim’s wife and mother of Batgirl, is bisexual! The writing of this show is excellent! That is why I am thrilled to bring you this information about the newly release Season Two!

This series is laden with back stories! I loved how we met Penguin in Season One, and I am enjoying the further developments as we see a young Catwoman, Ed Nygma just before he is going to turn bad, and a host of other villains! And Jada Pinkett Smith is just fabulous as Fish Mooney!

I downloaded the HD episodes and watch them at the gym, they keep my heart pumping and help me to complete my workout. This is a great series to watch and own, wherever you are!

just got this in the mail,but i still have to watch season 1..
I excited to start season 2. Season 1 was great. This is one that I can say I was like you because when I was in the 3rd grade I met Bruce Wayne. I wish I had a picture i could post. I loved Batman and Robin also. Just a great show!!!!
