I attended an event last week that was showcasing the product line from the Honest Company. It had been a few years since the last time I visited with them. It was right after their launch, and Miss Jessica Alba was in town to meet with the influencers and share her passion for green products, items she felt safe using around her young children!
I too had discovered that the world was full of more chemicals then I was comfortable with, when I had my son and began to look at product labels. The Honest Company is a very welcome place to get items for all of us to protect our families from the harmful chemicals in so many household products. Still today, products are made with toxins, even after all we know about our bodies, and the harm these chemicals can do. It is mind boggling that companies only care about their bottom line, and not about human beings. Thankfully, we have Honest Company products to fill our homes with, they are a much safer alternative for our children, and ourselves!
The above two products were my top choices from my visit. My son is going off to sleep away camp in the country, and he needs to be protected from the sun, and from bugs. He is a city kid, he does not like any bugs near him! Thankfully I do not have to protect him with substances, that while they protect from the sun and harmful bugs, can harm him because of the chemicals they contain. We should not have this added concern when shopping for products for our kids!
We saw everything. Diapers and formula, household cleaners and laundry products, and even gummy vitamins (they were delicious):
