I am very excited to be attending my second Dad Conference in two years! Last year we went to San Francisco and enjoyed a myriad of fun activates, which included visiting the Lucas Film campus, hosted by Lego. It was the inner sanctum of George Lucas, with Star Wars memorabilia all over the halls and rooms. It was an experience I will never forget, and one where I had the opportunity to overcome some Stormtroopers, wow!
Yes, we had fun, and we also learned a lot. The above is a collage created in the pic monkey app. They were there and hosted a session which was probably my favorite. I love what their software allows me to create!
And I was able to bond with male bloggers from across the country. Many of whom I had never met, because I am generally with the mom bloggers when I am in NYC. Also, the two other conferences I had been to previously, were both non-dad centric. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet other dad bloggers, and especially to bond with the ones from the NYC area who I now get to see throughout the year. One of the things I love most about the blog world is the camaraderie, and this was enhanced by my Dad 2.0 experience! Read about my terrific experience at daddy Mitch at Dad 2.0 San Francisco!
Lastly, I attended last year as a Best Buy Ambassador! It was a wonderful experience to chat with other bloggers about the terrific company that was hosting me, I have enjoyed working with Best Buy for almost three years now.
