KUNG FU PANDA 3 – IN THEATERS JANURY 29

Kung Fu Panda returns with its third installment starring, Jack Black and Angelina Jolie.

“In 2016, one of the most successful animated franchises in the world returns with its biggest comedy adventure yet, KUNG FU PANDA 3. When Po’s long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible — learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!”

My family was invited to the red carpet premiere of Kung Fu Panda 3 in NYC, along with many local celebrities, adding quite a buzz to the event!

My family have been long time fans of all the Kung Fu Panda movies, and the TV series as well! How could we not, we love Jack Black, we love pandas, and we love dumplings! And this third movie had all of that, and more! A village full of dumpling eating pandas!

Our chubby hero, Po, is found by his birth father and heads back with him to the secret and hidden, long lost panda village. Po is home! He begins to learn how to be a panda since his adopted father is a goose and there are some things he could just not teach him!

And Po’s adopted father, Mr. Ping, also sneaks along to return with Po, to Po’s home village. Like any adopted dad would! As an adoptive dad, I loved the allegiance of Mr. Ping, and the unconditional love and fierce loyalty he exhibits! The two dads later team up, I loved that as well, considering my son has two dads, although not in the same way!

Po’s village is about to come under attack and Po has to become the teacher for all the other pandas, and lead them towards their future! I will not give away any spoilers, but I will share that:

Mei Mei is a panda who is crazy, confident and a singularly focused ribbon dancer. Voiced by Kate Hudson, Mei Mei is fabulous!
