“Blue Man Group is a creative organization dedicated to creating excitement-generating experiences for our audience and ourselves.”
For those of you who have never seen this show, it is a crazy, over the top show where they do so many different things you will never get bored. And a lot of times what they are doing are things you thought of yourself but were to ridiculous to consider doing in the real world!
Have you ever wanted to yell at someone who came into a live performance late and disrupted the show? Well, let the Blue Man Group do that for you! They know folks will come in late and have a camera crew ready to film their late arrival which we all et to see on screen. OMG, it is hilarious, as long as you are not the late attendee!
There are several Blue Man Groups performing across America! I suspect they all do things a little differently, and I can tell you for sure there is an addition in the Orlando performance that you will not see anywhere else!
This was our third visit to the Orlando Blue Man group, the second as part of the #FamilyForward conference put together by the Mom It Forward Blogger Group. And this performance was the most special ever. The sister of the Mom It Forward founder was the girl picked to go on stage and participate in a segment, a segment that gets a little messy. I had seen this segment twice before, but never with someone I knew. I had tears of joy watching Melinda take over the Blue Man Group, she charmed all three of the Blue guys,. it was fantastic!
And of course (spoiler alert), this show ends in toilet paper and huge floating balls, so folks of all ages have no choice but to participate in the merriment!
My entire family loves the show and hopes to see it again and again. Tickets are quite reasonable and it is a great way to add to your enjoyment when you are visiting Universal Orlando! Click here for more information on the show and how to buy tickets!
And three generations of my family took a picture with one of the Blue Men, this is the only three generation picture we have!
Disclosure: I attended the Mom it Forward’s Family Forward event and received a discounted package for my Universal Orlando visit. I was not obligated to write this post and all opinions are always 100% honest and my own. The Blue Man Group tickets were part of the package.
Here’s a three year old picture of Paul with the Blue Men, and a family picture from last year!
