I have shared this before, my father-in-law and I used to talk about the stock market all the time. I mean, every weekend. And my mother-in-law would always say, “Buy Clorox. Everyone will always need bleach, that is the stock to buy.” And I have written that on the blog before!  And naturally, since it is the single most annoying characteristic of every mother-in-law, she was right. And of course her husband and I never, never listened. Needless to say, we might not be rich today, but we would be much further along in our investment goals if we had listened to her and bought Clorox stock!

I did listen enough to my mother-in-law, to know to buy Clorox products for my home. I have many different Clorox products in my home, from wipes to sprays to liquids: I always have a lot of Clorox in the house, and in several different forms. I still do not understand how it gets the stains out of the kitchen sink that look like metal under the ceramic finish, yet it always works. And with an active bathroom, I am always using Clorox in the toilet and the shower. The health department demanded this a few years back!

I am a bit of a slob. Spilling the bleach in the containers that we have is easier for me than not spilling it. I always come up from the laundry room looking for a towel to wipe off the bleach and detergent that are on my hands. To be honest, and several family members can corroborate this, I am a mess. It is understood that when we eat at my mother-in-laws, she has to give this 56 year old man a bib. My poor spouse never knows when he is going to get a stain on his nice clothes because I slammed a fork down so hard that food flew across the table onto his clothes. It is a war zone around me, and using crystals and packs instead of liquid bleach is a huge help to me, and everyone around me.

Up until now, the problem with any liquid form of Clorox has been the splash back. As is, my nick name is Mitch the Mess, I also always end up with bleach on my clothes when I use the liquid form. But not any more, now that we have these two new products:

    I would use these Clorox packets and crystals to help relieve my whites of various food stains. Ice tea becomes a prominent summer issue while coffee stains are the most difficult for me. If I still had a little leaguer, these would be great for those stains
