I have been a fan of Chris Colfer’s since the first time I saw him on Glee. I tell every actor that I meet that anytime they portray a gay character, they help my family. As the world gets educated, a world where my son has two dads becomes an easier place to survive. And a safer place for me and my family.
And who knew Chris Colfer was an author? I worked at my son’s middle school book fair (to spy on him of course) and saw Chris’s books for the first time. I was surprised to find that he had written these books, and then I was thrilled that his success was such that they were included in the book fair!
“The Masked Man is on the loose in the Land of Stories, and it’s up to Alex and Conner Bailey to stop him…except Alex has been thrown off the Fairy Council, and no one will believe they’re in danger. With only the help of the ragtag group of Goldilocks, Jack, Red Riding Hood, and Mother Goose and her gander, Lester, the Bailey twins discover the Masked Man’s secret scheme: He possesses a powerful magic potion that turns every book it touches into a portal, and he is recruiting an army of literature’s greatest villains! So begins a race through the magical Land of Oz, the fantastical world of Neverland, the madness of Wonderland, and beyond. Can Alex and Conner catch up to the Masked Man, or will they be one step behind until it’s too late?
Fairy tales and classic stories collide in the fourth adventure in Chris Colfer’s bestselling Land of Stories series as the twins travel beyond the kingdoms!”
Here is a snippet from the chat I attended:
I did receive the book at the event I attended and cannot wait to pass it on to my son! I also snagged a picture with this young star, I have been waiting man years for this!
So get the book already, it just hit the shelves!

This looks like a great story my 12 yr. old daughter would enjoy. I’ll put it on my list of books to look for the next time I’m at our local book store- thanks Mitch.
