Before I move forward with my review of this laptop I have to disclose that I have had an HP Pavilion laptop for at least half a decade and have never had one issue with it’s performance.
The older HP is on top, the newer faster version is on the bottom. I have been in the market for an updated and faster laptop for a year, so I was thrilled when this opportunity arose. My old HP laptop is the one that has accompanied me on every blog trip I have ever gone on! And while it still works perfectly fine, it is quite old and I am excited for the faster operating system!

Now it is time I admit my guilty pleasure. It’s not Internet gambling, but it is gaming and it cannot be done on my older laptop. That is yet another reason for the upgrade, I have been collecting points on a FB game called Vegas Slots. I fake gamble and earn points that can be converted into free tickets for events in Las Vegas. I did successfully use this a few years ago , I traded points I earned in the game for real events in Las Vegas such as free tickets to the play center at one of the hotels. You can earn extra points by signing on every day, I hated losing those points when I was out of town and could not sign on from my older model laptop. Problem solved with this great new laptop!

This is also something that will come in quite handy for us when we travel. I usually watch a movie on my tablet and my son strains his eyes playing games on small devices. I will always have this laptop on hand when we travel, so this will help to make my son’s flight much more enjoyable as he now loves playing video games on a larger screen (after all he is almost 12).

BEATS! I finally have BEATS! Which only makes this laptop more appealing to my son, which will only make me more possessive! I love streaming Hulu, Netflix, and other movie services, I am so excited for this sound system!

The AMD FX APU – HP Envy Touchsmart Laptop is the must own laptop for everyone! I am a huge fan of HP products, I have seen first hand the high quality of their laptops, I am thrilled to have this device for my blogging at home and on the road!
Now I hope I get contacted again for another Skype interview on TV. With this new laptop I will be able to set up a much better picture than the last time when I was in a split screen with another blogger who looked perfectly silhouetted, and I was all face (thanks to a lousy tablet set-up)! This new laptop will enable me to set myself up far more professionally for on air interviews, let all the TV stations know I am ready for my not so close-up!!

I like the bigger screen too. The little ones hurt my eyes. I’m sure getting a Batman test on there was tough…especially on a school night. 😉 It looks great! And HP is my most favorite type of computer, hands-down, always.
