I go to the gym four to five times a week. I usually go straight from dropping my son off at school, it is much easier to head over to the gym once I am out of the house!
I start my workout on the eliptical machine. It is like a step machine and the machine that works best for me to get my heart rate up to hopefully burn some calories!
And the only way I can get through a workout is by watching something on my phone, usually a show that I am catching up on, occasionally some music from a youtube video, but in either case I have earbuds on, something that I have written about before!

I want love to know my heart rate which I admit sometimes slows down too much if I am tired! I would love the surround sound because I occasionally play hip hop videos on youtube to get my workout pumping. They would also help to drown out the folks who cannot seem to workout without talking on their cell phones, but that is fodder for another post! I am hoping these will drown out that noise! And voice coaching? I always need that, one person once asked me if I was working out or sleeping!
My resolution in 2015 is to work harder at the gym and eat better so that I can slim down a bit. Sometimes my son walks to school by himself and I fail to make it out of the house for a workout. More than once, while on the elliptical, a trainer at the gym asked me if I were awake. I love music that gets me moving and I need to be resolute and find the right radio station for my workouts instead of getting caught up on reruns of Scandal! These earbuds from Jabra can help me make sure my heart beat is at the level it should be, my coach can inspire me, and with the built in tracking I can eventually see my progress!

Those are nice headphones. I like how they go behind the neck to prevent getting snagged on my arms and having me jerk them out of my ears when I am running!

I think it’s so much easier to do a workout too if you’re looking at or listening to something. These earbuds sound nice. I think my daughter would like them (she wasn’t overly keen on the Hello Kitty ones I got her for Christmas… though she didn’t say so).
